What Is the CheckPoint 360° Survey?

The CheckPoint 360° survey combines feedback from direct reports, peers, supervisors, and even others who work with your leaders to help them improve their performance and deliver on strategic goals.

Checkpoint 360 Survey

Survey results highlight a leader’s performance based on observable behavior in the eight universal management competencies and 18 skill sets. It also helps determine alignment opportunities between the leader and the organizational strategy.

 

Organizations can use feedback from the survey to identify talents, talent gaps, and focus areas to build personalized development plans.

How Does It Work?

Create Leader Reference Group

Identify a reference group to provide feedback about the leader. The reference group should include people who have close interaction with the manager or leader. Determine the category to which they belong: peers, direct reports, supervisors, and others (clients, vendors, contractors). All participant responses are confidential except for the leaders’ and supervisor/bosses’ ratings.

Assess Competencies

Participants will receive an online invitation with a link to complete the survey about the leader and their observed behaviors. Leaders will also complete an online self-evaluation.

Receive Actionable Data

Through an easy-to-interpret set of reports, both the individual being assessed and their supervisors receive a set of reports that can guide the improvement of leadership and management skills.

Measures

The CheckPoint 360° survey measures the effectiveness of managers and leaders and provides an actionable development plan. The survey measures 70 leadership behaviors grouped into 18 skillsets and eight universal competencies, including:
